Ketchikan’s sole purpose seems to be to cater to tourists. Shop after shop of fine jewelry or smoked salmon. We split up today, Nhi and I went on a bike ride while Shali and Aaron went zip lining and took in a lumberjack show. Side note: Ketchikan is the future home of the famed “bridge to nowhere”. The bridge will link the main city (if you can call it that) with the airport that is on a separate island. Of course the current ferry system looked to be working fine, but why use a ferry when you can build a $250 million bridge?
