Takin it easy.
After all that driving, we did a relaxing day. We went snorkeling at the neighboring Mauna Kea resort and then drove north to Pololu to explore. We also stumbled upon Hawi-town where we discovered the amazing Short ‘n’ Sweet bakery. Best sandwiches ever! And the banana cream pie isn’t bad either! We ended the drive with a scenic drive back to the hotel and an afternoon of boogie boarding and watching the sun go down.
