Tokyo is how far???
For those who have never been to Japan, most international flights come into Narita airport, about 30-40 miles (!) away from Tokyo. The story is that the airport was built out there due to some shady real estate dealings of a former prime minister’s friend. In any case, the first day we were there was mostly about adjusting to the time change and getting into Tokyo. As such, we only have one picture of me trying to look happy.
