In May 2010, we went to Singapore (obstensibly for a wedding but really for some chicken rice) and Siem Reap. Needless to say, two very different places, one sparkling and new, the other ruinous and ancient. The highlight of the trip was seeing the temple complex of Angkor where several impressive ruins in various states could be seen. Enjoy!
